Beyonce Wants Your "Love On Top"

With her throw-back to the 1980s track, Beyonce quickly returns again with a up-tempo R&B tune, "Love On Top" from her albume '4'. The video is inspired by her favorite singers and groups of the 1980's such as New Edition, Michael Jackson. Beyonce recently tweeted to her Aussie fans during her first premiere:
I am excited to give my Australian fans the World Premiere of "Love On Top"! Thank you for the amazing response to the song at radio. I have worked very hard on this video, this song is special to me and I had an idea for the video based on some of my favorite male groups. I remember seeing videos from New Edition, The Jackson 5 and the Temptations, bands I love for their beautiful harmonies, and precise choreography and I always wanted to make a video and be part of a boy group myself. It was so much fun. I put my heart and soul into "Love On Top" and I hope you love it.

Beyonce Announces The Birth Date Of Her Destined Child!

Australia’s 'Sunday Night' telecast graciously welcomed The Queen of R&B/Pop, Beyonce, where they got her to spill the deets on everything from her musical legacy she'll leave behind to the biggest production of her life, the due date of her unborn baby.

B was quoted saying during the interview,
"The pregnancy has already changed my life. My husband and I have been together for ten years. All of my 20s, since I was 20. Because I've accomplished a lot of things for myself and I really know who I am. I didn't rush into anything - I just feel like it’s time. I feel like if it’s any time, right now is the time. I’m so happy."

Beyonce 'Countsdown' Minute By Minute Her Best Video To Date!

Beyonce has done it yet again! But this time around it's not a baby revealing performance or a tribute to Tina Tuner, but it's the release of her official 3rd single "Countdown" off the her current album "4" which showcases the Queen of R&B/Pop shake rattle and rolling in this eye-candy video, perfect for the fashion hungry like me-self.

Quite the tasteful aesthetic, Beyonce crushes her previous video favorites of mine ('Why Don't You Love Me', 'Crazy In Love', & 'Run The World'), channeling a 60's version of Audrey Hepburn, Brigitte Bardot, and Tina Turner.

The cinematography, art direction, editing, costume, make-up, hair, etc - believe me I can go on and on - is pure perfection! Feast your eyes on this retro-vintage-mod video gone superbly well. Also a fun fact kiddas, the video was shot by Adria Petty, daughter of American rocker Tom Petty. That explains a whole lot. As always, indulge and shake a tail feather.

Beyonce Thrills With Unknown French Fashion Designers

Beyonce is all about keeping her fashion status fresh and with plenty of thrills. Now, fashion writer Dhani Mau, lets us in on her most recent fashion risk takings.
"Beyoncé has never been afraid to take risks with her wardrobe choices, whether it’s Thierry Mugler, who created her tour wardrobe in 2009, McQueen or Givenchy couture, both of which she wore in the “Girls” video; or even a Tina Knowles creation. Her looks are always daring and transformative.

For her latest fold-out album cover, the Times notes, Beyoncé’s signature bold looks are there, but the big designer names are not. On the cover, she wears a fur stole by up-and-coming French designer Alexandre Vauthier, who she also wore on stage at Glastonbury recently, where she outshined the mud-covered masses in a gold sequined number by the designer.

Inside, she also wears three-year-old label Julien Fournié, and on the cover of the “deuluxe” version of “4,” a beaded dress by 27-year-old Maxime Simoens. The biggest name mentioned is Paris-based Azzedine Alaïa, who she wears on the back of both albums. Also, much of the cover art was shot by young French photographer Greg Gex.

Ms. Knowles’s creative director, Jenke-Ahmed Tailly, told the Times, “The album is a musical gumbo of everything Beyoncé likes. Each song really has a different personality so we decided to do the cover like an editorial for a magazine, with each song having its own style.” And of the decision to use lesser known designers: “It was important to Beyoncé that the choice of clothing not be about the brand but about the quality of the work.”

In April, Beyoncé and Jay-Z spent some time in Paris (famously spending $20,000/night on swanky accommodations), where Bey shot a spread for Harper’s Bazaar and dazzled the city of lights with her chic outfits while out promoting “4.” Perhaps the city’s fashion talent made an impression on her as well.

We love that Bey is supporting emerging designers by thrusting them into the very strong spotlight that is always shining on her. Designers like Vaulthier and Fournié are breathing new life into Paris fashion–it’s refreshing to see young designers succeed there, where the more established labels don’t always make room for them."

"I feel like 30 is the ideal age, because you're mature enough to know who you are and have your boundaries and your standards and not be afraid of too polite, but young enough to be a young woman," she says. "I'm so looking forward to it."

Beyonce Talks Performance Discipline. Also Scope Out B's Most Recent June Magazine Cover Issues!

“As a child I trained myself to dance in very high heels. At 13, in Destiny’s Child, we were told to wear heels, but at first we couldn’t walk in them. We couldn’t keep our knees straight. But we learned, and that became the image of Destiny’s Child: so young and so glamorous. Now I have a rule that my dancers have to wear their heels when I’m wearing my heels. They say, ‘Please take your shoes off, Beyoncé.’ At home, I’m always barefoot.”

Beyonce Splashes On The Pages Of W Magazines July Edition

Beyonce showcases a Louis Vuitton ensemble parred along with a Givenchy under garment on the new pages of W magazine!

On deciding on the feel of a video as she sings a song... "When I sing a song, I definitely have the image for the video in my mind. I kind of hear the choreography that will be in the video, and I can see how I’ll look, even before anyone - the record company, the director - has heard the song."

In response to the title of her new album "4"....“The fans have named the album 4,” Beyoncé explained. “And four is my favorite number. It’s an important number in my life: the date of my birthday, my mom’s birthday, my husband’s birthday, the day I got married. Barack Obama is the 44th president, and I performed ‘At Last’ by Etta James at his inauguration.”

On wanting to move out of her comfort zone on 4... "I wanted this record to come from a raw place. Playing Etta James in the movie Cadillac Records really changed me. It was a darker character, and I realized that if anything is too comfortable, I want to run from it. It’s no fun being safe."

Beyonce STILL Run(s) the World!

Like the head girl of the scene that she rightfully is (The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), listed Knowles as the top certified artist of the decade) Beyonce rides in on her massive clydesdale horse dominating the war torn scene in her new video for her first single of her album '4'.

The Francis Lawrence helmed video for 'Run The World (Girls)', (previously directed two music videos for Destiny's Child: "Independent Women" (2000) and "Emotion" (2001)) worked with eight different choreographers, including Frank Gatson and Sheryl Murakami on the heavily choreographed video to create the mood for the post-apocalyptic war zone atmosphere.

See the highly entertaining video below which is a re-confirmation for those who need to be spoon fed on Who Run The World with her unapologetically aggressive message towards female empowerment.

It's definitely riskier than something a bit more... simple. I just heard the track and loved that it was so different: it felt a bit African, a bit electronic and futuristic. It reminded me of what I love, which is mixing different cultures and eras — things that typically don't go together — to create a new sound. I can never be safe; I always try and go against the grain. As soon as I accomplish one thing, I just set a higher goal. That's how I've gotten to where I am. - Beyonce
