Adele Keeps On Soaring High

Adele continues to dominate thee entire musique industry airwaves performing a never before heard tune off 2011's album of the year "21". Might I add, the first time I listened to the first single 'Rolling In The Deep' last November of 2010 (yes it was officially released that long ago in the UK), I instantly dubbed the soulful pop tune a classic and saw nothing but multiple if not earth shattering Grammy awards in her future.

Unfortunately, she didn't make the cut for the deadline at this year's award show but come 2012, it will be a win-win situaion for Adele. Now my one thought is, will she sweep the awards and equal or even surpass the record holding title of 5 Grammy wins in one night for any female artist in history?

The likes of Tina Turner, Beyonce, Sheryl Crow, Amy Winehouse, Alicia Keys, Norah Jones, Alanis Morissette, Bonnie Raitt, Whitney Houston and Lauryn Hill are all women who deserved their share of accolades and recognition but I think it's time to break that record and Adele seems to be the perfect songbird to do so! It will indeed take 'Someone Like Adele' to accomplish such a feat. I of course, am rooting for her all the way to the Grammy stage.

Adele Sets Fire To The Graham Norton Show!

Adele 'Set Fire To The Rain' on BBC's The Graham Norton Show this past weekend. Seeming undaunted by her recent shot to worldwide fame thanks to her inescapable sophomore album "21", Adele seems as modest and witty than ever before.

Two albums in, and just three years after initially hitting the musique airwaves, if it seems like this Britsh songbird is everywhere nowadays, it's because she is and we're not complaining. It's been an on-going promo tour for Adele, and her most recent performance of the new single "Set Fire To Rain" continues to showcase an unmatched vocal power and why her album still remains number 1 worldwide.

This would also explain there love of quality musique and fine foods as expressed by Adele in a recent interview for Rolling Stone's magazine.
"I like eating fine foods and drinking nice wine. Even if I had a really good figure, I don't think I'd get my t**s and a** out for no one. I love seeing Lady Gaga’s boobs and bum. Love it. But that’s not what my music is about. I don’t make music for eyes, I make music for ears."

Spoken Like A True Star...2 Things We Learned About Adele

Adele is this month's Rolling Stone Magazine's cover girl. Spoken like a true star. The British songbird is more concerned with her musique rather than her weight, as it should be! She also spills about the time Beyoncé made her cry a river. Below are two fine excerpts pulled from the featured article. For the rest of the story, scoot over to Rollingstone.com now!
"My life is full of drama and I won't have time to worry about something as petty as what I look like. I don't like going to the gym. I like eating fine foods and drinking nice wine. Even if I had a really good figure, I don't think I'd get my t**s and a** out for no one. I love seeing Lady Gaga’s boobs and bum. I love seeing Katy Perry’s boobs and bum. Love it. But that’s not what my music is about. I don’t make music for eyes, I make music for ears."

- Adele will most likely stay the way she is, beautiful and radiant. Showing her breasts and bum is completely out of the question, but she’s hunky-dory with other pop artist's doing it.

"I was about to meet Beyoncé and I had a full-blown anxiety attack. Then she popped in looking gorgeous, and said, ‘You’re amazing! When I listen to you I feel like I’m listening to God. I went out on the balcony crying hysterically, and I said, ‘What would Sasha Fierce do?’ That’s when Sasha Carter was born."

John Legend Can Roll in the Deep too

Powerhouse singer Adele is having tremendous and much deserved success with her new album '21' and taking notice is R&B/Soul crooner John Legend who has recorded his own version of the number one hit 'Rolling in the Deep'.

The live accapella recording is 'crystal clear' and features beautifully toned soulful background singers that give Legends cover a life of its own.

The beautiful cover that some delusional bloggers are "very impressed" to hear, obviously don't know a thing about the voice and talent that is John Legend.
