Beyonce STILL Run(s) the World!

Like the head girl of the scene that she rightfully is (The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), listed Knowles as the top certified artist of the decade) Beyonce rides in on her massive clydesdale horse dominating the war torn scene in her new video for her first single of her album '4'.

The Francis Lawrence helmed video for 'Run The World (Girls)', (previously directed two music videos for Destiny's Child: "Independent Women" (2000) and "Emotion" (2001)) worked with eight different choreographers, including Frank Gatson and Sheryl Murakami on the heavily choreographed video to create the mood for the post-apocalyptic war zone atmosphere.

See the highly entertaining video below which is a re-confirmation for those who need to be spoon fed on Who Run The World with her unapologetically aggressive message towards female empowerment.

It's definitely riskier than something a bit more... simple. I just heard the track and loved that it was so different: it felt a bit African, a bit electronic and futuristic. It reminded me of what I love, which is mixing different cultures and eras — things that typically don't go together — to create a new sound. I can never be safe; I always try and go against the grain. As soon as I accomplish one thing, I just set a higher goal. That's how I've gotten to where I am. - Beyonce
