Adele Keeps On Soaring High
Adele continues to dominate thee entire musique industry airwaves performing a never before heard tune off 2011's album of the year "21". Might I add, the first time I listened to the first single 'Rolling In The Deep' last November of 2010 (yes it was officially released that long ago in the UK), I instantly dubbed the soulful pop tune a classic and saw nothing but multiple if not earth shattering Grammy awards in her future.
Unfortunately, she didn't make the cut for the deadline at this year's award show but come 2012, it will be a win-win situaion for Adele. Now my one thought is, will she sweep the awards and equal or even surpass the record holding title of 5 Grammy wins in one night for any female artist in history?
The likes of Tina Turner, Beyonce, Sheryl Crow, Amy Winehouse, Alicia Keys, Norah Jones, Alanis Morissette, Bonnie Raitt, Whitney Houston and Lauryn Hill are all women who deserved their share of accolades and recognition but I think it's time to break that record and Adele seems to be the perfect songbird to do so! It will indeed take 'Someone Like Adele' to accomplish such a feat. I of course, am rooting for her all the way to the Grammy stage.
