Have A Very Merry Birthday Mister Townshend!!!
Peter Dennis Blandford aka Pete Townshend was born today, May 19th in 1945. For so many reasons this man is a TRUE ICON. He is an English rock guitarist, vocalist, songwriter and author. He's more famously known as the guitarist and songwriter for The Who.
According to reports, The Who is considered to be one of the most influential bands of the rock era, and according to Eddie Vedder, "possibly the greatest live band ever." For all the beautiful musique you've provided onto this world, for that we salute you Mister Townshend!
