All Aboard On The Mick Jagger!

Mick Jagger brought the Caribbean look without the pirates while vacaying in Hawaii. His classic Hawaiian top parred along with his yellow trousers and blue hat (which I am super green with envy) tops an easy sea breezing ensemble perfect for any boat trip!

Have A Very Merry Birthday Mister Mick Jagger!

Sir Michael Philip Mick Jagger was born yesterday, July 26 of 1943. What can I say that hasn't already been said or documented of this living breathing genius. Okay, so he is an innovative English musician, singer-songwriter, record & film producer, lead vocalist of The Rolling Stones, style icon, and an all around, truly one of a kind musique legend.

Mick Jagger, along with The Rolling Stones, began their road to rock n roll domination in the early 1960s as a rhythm and blues cover band. Mick and guitarist Keith Richards manifested a songwriting relationship and by the mid-1960s the group had evolved into arguably the greatest rock band to ever walk the face of this earth. Just see for yourself kiddas!

Mick Along With His Then Wife Bianca Jagger. A Stylish Twosome

Mick and Bianca Jagger spent the night in October of 1976 in NYC's re-opening of the once super famous shin-dig night spot, "The Copacabana" as it went on to reinvent itself as a full on dance night club. The occasion was in celebration of Andy Warhol and saw the company of such legendary faces like John Lennon and Yoko Ono.

Mick and Bianca outfit choices were simply impeccable. Jagger's horizontal striped polo shirt screamed casual sophistication at its finest. All the while, Bianca opted for a scarf and what appears to be a satin belt of some sort. Bravissmo to the once darling twosome.

Andy Warhol, Andy Warhol! Roll Out Your Silkscreen Portraits

What did Andy Warhol think of the likes of Yves Saint Laurent, Halston, Valentino, Diane von Furstenberg, Giorgio Armani, John Lennon, Mick Jagger, Michael Jackson, Brigitte Bardot, Jane Fonda, Debbie Harry, Liza Minelli, Grace Jones, and Jean-Michel Basquiat, all of whom were either leading figures in fashion, musique, art, cinema, and culture? Well he obviously must of thought very highly of these individuals because in the mid 1970's, Andy reincarnated his iconic silkscreen portraits, similar to those he originally created in the 1960s of Elizabeth Taylor and Jackie O.

On this post, I've included some examples of Andy's brilliant silkscreen art pieces that still hold an impressionable artistic voice, some 40 years after it's creation. This is exactly what i've always said, there are flavor's of the month and than there classics. Andy Warhol, a pioneer of the Pop art movement era, truly exemplifies this notion To a T.
